Part 3 of 4 - Why Christmas Came Early

If someone showed you these clothes without telling you where they were, would you guess they came from a hospital gift shop?

Probably not.
That's because The Temiskaming Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop doesn't look—or shop—like most people expect.
The racks are filled with Canadian-designed fashion from brands like Papa, Mode Vin Rouge, DKR Apparel and other boutique collections carefully chosen with local shoppers in mind.

And that's exactly why Christmas has come a little early.
It's not really about a sale.
It’s about making space.
So for two days only, July 28 and 29, all clothing is 20% off.
Not because it's out of style.
Not because it's last season.
Simply because something new is already on its way.
"It's a way of refreshing our stock," says Gift Shop Coordinator Diane Vachon.
With limited space, every new collection means another has to make room.
So while shoppers enjoy the savings, the shelves begin making room for what's next.

Browse the clothing sale, then take your time exploring the jewellery, handbags, gifts and home décor that have made this little shop such an unexpected find. And if your purchases total more than $100, the Gift Shop will even cover your parking.
Because while the fashions may change...
The reason behind them never does.
Every discount still helps support local healthcare.
Every purchase still stays in Temiskaming.
Sometimes the best bargains aren't just the ones that save you money.
They're the ones that help your community at the same time.
Merry Christmas In July!
