Take A Ride. Help The Hospital.

What if taking a quick test ride could help support local health care?

Tri-Town Motorsports is celebrating its arrival as the area's new CFMOTO dealer with its first-ever Demo Day Charity BBQ on Wednesday, July 1, inviting the community to enjoy a day of test rides, great food, and fundraising for the Temiskaming Hospital Foundation.

Visitors can get behind the wheel of CFMOTO demo units at 998090 Highway 11, New Liskeard, while making a difference in the community. For every demo ride taken, Tri-Town Motorsports will donate $10 to the Temiskaming Hospital Foundation. Every burger sold will also help, with all BBQ proceeds going directly to the Foundation.

The dealership is adding another way for the community to get involved online as well. Every share of its event post will generate a $2 donation, up to 1,000 shares, helping raise even more money for local health care.

Whether you're interested in checking out the latest CFMOTO lineup, curious about off-road vehicles, or simply looking for a great Canada Day activity, Demo Day offers an opportunity to support a local business while giving back to the hospital that serves our region.

The event runs Wednesday, July 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Tri-Town Motorsports, 998090 Highway 11, New Liskeard. Come out, take a free demo ride, enjoy a burger, and help make a difference in your community.

Can’t make it to Demo Day? You can still help. Share the Tri-Town Motorsports post and they’ll donate $2 to the Temiskaming Hospital Foundation, up to 1,000 shares.

🚌 Canada Day Holiday Transit Schedule

Temiskaming Transit will operate a modified schedule during the Canada Day holiday period. Weekend service will run on July 1, 4 and 5, with regular service on all other days from June 30 to July 6.

Additional buses will operate from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on July 1 and July 4. On Canada Day, rides after 10:00 PM are free, with a bus departing PFC at 10:45 PM following the fireworks. The last bus leaves Walmart at 10:20 PM and arrives in Cobalt at 11:00 PM.

🌦️ Climate Change Survey — Chance to Win a $200 Gift Card

Temiskaming First Nation and Notre-Dame-du-Nord are inviting residents aged 16 and older to complete a survey on climate change risks and vulnerabilities in the region. The feedback will help support planning efforts aimed at building stronger and more resilient communities.

Participants who complete the survey can enter a draw to win a $200 gift card. Paper copies are also available at the Notre-Dame-du-Nord municipal office.
