Sunflowers Are Blooming Near Earlton

Pic Credit: Country Charm Flowers
A field of sunflowers just north of Earlton is now open for anyone looking to enjoy the view, take some photos or simply spend some time among the blooms.
Country Charm Flowers opened its sunflower field to the public on August 28, with plans to welcome visitors daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The field is expected to remain open for about two weeks, although exactly how long will depend on the weather and the flowers. Visitors are encouraged to check Country Charm Flowers' Facebook page before heading out, as hours may occasionally change for private photography sessions.
Admission is $5 for adults, $2.50 for children ages 3 to 16 and free for children two and under. A $20 family admission covers two adults and their children. Payment can be made at the farm gate by cash or e-transfer.
Visitors are welcome to wander through the field and take their own photos. Professional photographers, however, need to book a session in advance.
Fresh-cut flowers will also be available for purchase at the farm gate. Pets are welcome but must remain on a leash because of farm biosecurity requirements. Visitors may also encounter the farm's two dogs, cattle in the neighbouring field and, if they're lucky, what Country Charm calls its "mysterious sunflower kitty."
And while the sunflower field makes a pretty backdrop, it is still a working farm. If there's been rain, organizers suggest choosing footwear accordingly.
Country Charm Flowers is located on Armstrong Evanturel Boundary Road, just north of Earlton.
