North On Tap Eyes $100K

North on Tap is aiming to raise another $100,000 for local charities when the popular craft beer festival returns to Haileybury next weekend.

The eighth annual festival kicks off Friday, July 10, with a beer-themed golf tournament and an alcohol-free Family Night before the main event takes place Saturday, July 11, at Harbour Place. Organizers say this year's festival will feature eight returning beverage producers along with two new breweries: Lake of the Woods Brewing Company and Common Good Beer Co.

Since launching a decade ago, the volunteer-run event has become one of the region's largest charitable fundraisers. After surpassing $525,000 in total donations last year, organizers hope to add another $100,000 to that total in 2026. Festival proceeds support local charities and non-profit organizations throughout the Temiskaming region.

In 2025, North on Tap distributed $100,100 to three local causes, including funding for seniors' care facility improvements, a second ECG machine for the hospital, and a children's reading program.

General admission tickets are available through the festival website.
