Sow Much Fun Garden Tour - Six Local Gardens | 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Tour six beautiful local gardens, gather gardening inspiration, and support Northern Hospice Care. Tickets are available at Northern Drugs locations in New Liskeard, Haileybury and Cobalt, Dam Depot in Latchford, and at the Riverside Farmers' Market on July 11 from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Equine Information Session - Kerns Hall | 6:30 PM | Horse owners and enthusiasts are invited to an informative evening on equine hot topics, including ulcers and parasites, featuring guest speakers from Boehringer. Refreshments, pizza and prizes will be provided. RSVP by July 15.

Block Party Continues Here

The Downtown Block Party doesn't have to end when the concert wraps up.
On Friday, July 24, Wild Wing is hosting a Friday Night Party that runs alongside the Downtown Block Party before continuing into the early morning.
From 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., visitors can enjoy both the Downtown Block Party Concert and Wild Wing's outdoor beer garden. Then, from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m., the party moves inside with a live DJ, drink specials and dancing.
Between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., guests can move freely between the outdoor concert, the beer garden and the indoor party. After 11 p.m., the outdoor areas close, but the celebration continues inside Wild Wing until 2 a.m.
Advance tickets are $10 online or $15 at the door.
If you're planning to head downtown for the Block Party, Wild Wing is offering a way to keep the night going long after the final song.

Englehart Boil Water Advisory Monday

Residents in Englehart will be under a precautionary boil water advisory beginning Monday, July 20, while work is completed at the Town's Water Treatment Plant.
During the advisory, residents are required to bring tap water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, preparing food, brushing teeth or making ice. Bottled water may also be used.
The advisory is a precautionary measure to protect public health while the necessary work is carried out at the treatment plant.
The Town and Northeastern Public Health will provide an update once the boil water advisory has been lifted.
Residents are encouraged to follow the advisory until official notice is given that the water is safe to use without boiling.
👶 New Liskeard Fall Fair Baby Contest Registration Open
Registration is now open for the 2026 Baby Contest, taking place Saturday, September 19 at 11:00 AM on the Entertainment Stage inside the Horne Granite Curling Club.
The contest is open to babies from newborn to 12 months old, born between September 1, 2025 and August 31, 2026. Registration is required by August 31, with prizes awarded at the end of the contest.
