Finally, Skincare That Boosts NAD+ At the Source

For decades, skincare has focused on aesthetic results. But we started by asking a different question: what if instead of trying to preserve our skin's youth, we prioritized optimizing our skin's function? That's how Aramore’s  NAD+ skincare was born.

Developed by Harvard & MIT scientists, Aramore is a skincare system based on skin’s performance, not just its appearance. NAD+ production slows down significantly as we age, and this causes all the telltale science of aging.

Aramore is the only skincare formulated to help skin produce NAD+ like much younger skin would. The result? Skin that’s stronger, firmer,  and more resilient, that not only looks better, but stays healthier over time.

Federal Government Invests in Electra Refinery Expansion in Cobalt

The federal government has announced a major investment in Cobalt, ON aimed at expanding Electra Battery Materials’ cobalt refinery, further strengthening Canada’s role in the critical minerals sector.

According to the official announcement, the funding will support the continued development and expansion of Electra’s facility, which is positioned to become North America’s only battery grade cobalt sulfate refinery. The project is part of a broader effort to build a domestic supply chain for materials used in electric vehicles and energy storage.

Government officials say the investment is focused on boosting Canada’s ability to process critical minerals at home, reducing reliance on international sources while supporting jobs and economic growth in Northern Ontario.

The Cobalt facility has already received multiple rounds of support in recent years, with funding tied to both refinery expansion and battery materials innovation.

Cobalt sulfate produced at the site will play a key role in lithium ion battery production, which is increasingly in demand as industries shift toward cleaner energy and electrification.

The announcement marks another step in positioning the Temiskaming region as a growing hub in Canada’s critical minerals and battery supply chain.

Temisko Recognized as Exceptional Employer at Gala Oblik 2026

A local company is being recognized for its impact on the region following this year’s Gala Oblik.

The Municipality of Notre-Dame-du-Nord has congratulated Temisko after the company was named an exceptional employer at the 2026 event, a recognition that highlights both workplace leadership and community involvement.

The Gala Oblik 2026, held May 2, celebrates businesses across the Témiscamingue region that demonstrate innovation, leadership, and a strong commitment to their communities.

Organizers describe the gala as a way to recognize companies that are helping shape the region’s future through their work and values, while also bringing together leaders from across different industries.

In its message, the municipality pointed to Temisko’s role in supporting local development and contributing to the broader strength of the community. The recognition reflects not only business success, but also a commitment to creating opportunities and supporting future generations.

The acknowledgment highlights the importance of local companies in driving economic growth while also reinforcing the sense of community that defines the region.

Be On The Look Out!

You’re going to start seeing this guy around.

We call him the Tri Town Guide.

We’re going to be launching a simple game on Facebook called Find the Guide. On certain days we’ll post a photo somewhere around the Tri Town. The Guide will be in that photo. Your job will be to figure out where it is.

You’ll drop your guess in the comment, and every correct answer will count as an entry. We’ll draw a winner each week and feature them in the newsletter. Local businesses will be part of it too, so prizes will come from right here in the community.

It’s meant to be simple. Something quick, something fun, something that makes you look at the tri town area a little differently.

We’re not launching it just yet. We want to build this up properly first. But it’s coming soon.

So for now, just keep an eye out.

Because once the Guide starts showing up, you’ll know it’s time to play.
