Englehart Courts Getting Major Upgrade

Pickleball players in Englehart have something to look forward to this fall.

The Town of Englehart has announced that its tennis courts will be professionally resurfaced and redesigned beginning August 24 to include four regulation-size pickleball courts with permanent nets, alongside one tennis court.

The upgrade comes after the Town's portable pickleball nets were damaged last year and will provide players with a dedicated, long-term facility for one of Canada's fastest-growing sports.

Construction is expected to take approximately three weeks, during which time the courts will be closed for resurfacing, painting, and restoration.

Town officials are encouraging residents to enjoy the courts while they remain open this summer and thanked the community for its patience as the improvements are completed.
