Double Silver Weekend for TSMHA PuckHounds

It was a silver-medal weekend for not one but two PuckHounds teams, and Temiskaming Shores couldn't be prouder. The U12A team brought home Silver from their U12AA Tournament of Champions in Timmins, battling hard all weekend in a tough field of competition.

And the U14A Miller Paving team matched that achievement, also earning Silver at their U14AA Tournament of Champions. Two teams.

Two silver medals. One incredible weekend for minor hockey in the Tri Town. Congratulations to both squads, their coaches, their managers, and all the families who made the trips and cheered them on from the stands. 🥈🏒

⚠️Deadline This Friday - Mandatory Ice Hut Removal

All ice huts must be removed from City of Temiskaming Shores property by Friday, April 17, 2026. Affected locations include 20 Whitewood Avenue in New Liskeard and 325 Farr Drive in Haileybury. Any huts remaining after April 17 may be removed at the owner's expense.

The Temiskaming Shores & Area Chamber of Commerce is calling on local adults to step up as volunteer Career Coaches through the Ontario Career Lab. Game Coming Soon!

Be On The Look Out!

You’re going to start seeing this guy around.

We call him the Tri Town Guide.

We’re going to be launching a simple daily game on Facebook called Find the Guide. Each day we’ll post a photo somewhere around the Tri Town. The Guide will be in that photo. Your job will be to figure out where it is.

You’ll drop your guess in the comment, and every correct answer will count as an entry. We’ll draw a winner each week and feature them in the newsletter. Local businesses will be part of it too, so prizes will come from right here in the community.

It’s meant to be simple. Something quick, something fun, something that makes you look at the tri town area a little differently.

We’re not launching it just yet. We want to build this up properly first. But it’s coming soon.

So for now, just keep an eye out.

Because once the Guide starts showing up, you’ll know it’s time to play.
